Abstract

Waru leaves (Hibiscus tiliaceus L.) having hair un-balder hair rabbits to New Zealand White. A chemical compound flavonoid, phenol, saponin. The purpose of this study is to find ability creambath preparation extract ethanol waru leaves in expedite the growth hair on rabbit, consentration effective creambath preparation to speed up growth of hair rabbit, stability and to know creambath preparation during the research. Extraction in this research used maceration method with 96% ethanol as the solvent. Creambath extract parameters waru leaves is concentration extract and storage for the time 28 days. Observation of growth activity have been carried out with watch a tree grow hair on the back fictional character of a rabbit after the provision of creambath, characterized by an increase in the length of the hair. The data which obtained were analyzed by one-way ANOVA (significant p>0,05). The results showed that the physical quality produced was mostly good the stability of the creambath was good. Creambath preparations of waru leaf extract (Hibiscus tiliaceus L.) concentration of 12,5%, 25% and 37,5% had activities to accelerate the growth of New Zealand White rabbit hair. There has been no effective concentration of the creambath preparation of waru leaf extract (Hibiscus tiliaceus L.) which has the same hair growth effect with positive control, but for the delevopment of hair weight in rabbits it has been effectives, namely the concentration of 37,5%.
