Abstract

Drug management is an important aspect in pharmaceutical services. The procurement phase is a stage that greatly determines the success of subsequent drug management. The purpose of this study was evaluated the procurement management of the drug stage in 2nd Level Hospital dr. Soedjono Magelang period 2018 to determine the availability of funds, procurement accuracy, frequency of procurement, payment quality, problems and weaknesses in the procurement system so that improvement could be made improve pharmaceutical services. This research is a descriptive non experimental with data collection by retrospective based procurement document period 2018. Drug management was procurement analysed by Depkes RI and research result before then evaluated. The results showed that the percentage of funds available with all the funds needed was 81,12%, the percentage of items taken from drugs that were planed with 81,98%, the frequency of procurement of each drug item 4 times/year by 93,30%, 15 times/year by 5,09% and 33 times/year by 1,61%, the delay in payment for a predetermined time of 52 days, the problem with the procurement system is the delayed delivery and the weakness is the late payment.
