Abstract

Medicine of high alert medication which is kind of medicine that should be aware because it frequently occur sentinel event, impact that could be occur and won’t be happened from adverse outcome is giving wrong medicine to the patient. The purpose of this research is to knowing the implementation of high alert medication in the Intensive Unit of RSUD Tidar Magelang City. This research make use of observation method with primary data which is the data that obtained directly from the research subject have the form observation sheets on the high alert medication observation sheets with two times verification. The result of the research show us that storage of high alert medication in the Intensive Unit of RSUD Tidar Magelang City that involve Stroke Unit, ICU, and PICU with each percentages 80% accordingly to the Procedure Operational Standart of RSUD Tidar Magelang City. The result of the research storage high alert medication that is not in accordance with the Procedure Operational Standart of RSUD Tidar Magelang City as much percentages 20% which is regarding medicine storage in a manner of alphabetis.
