Abstract
Transfusion is one of the measures intended to help improve the patient's recovery. Blood component transfusion action still needs to be an important study in the study. This is because there is still a diversity of factors that affect the sustainability and security of the transfusion itself. This study aims to determine the differences in elevated levels of post Hb transfusion and using blood components WE (washed erythrocyte) and PRC (packed red cell). This research uses purposive sampling technique with secondary data retrieval method. This research was done in Juli 2018 in RSUD Karanganyar. The population used in this study were patients undergoing transfusion of blood components of WE and PRC with 2 pockets. The sample of the research is 288 patient data entering criteria. Tests of statistical data using data on Hemoglobin level difference before and after undergoing transfusion action using a computer. The results give meaning that there is no significant value of 0.374 so thet Ho is accepted and it can be concluded that there is no significant difference for the increase of post transfusion hemoglobin of blood component of WE and PRC.
