Abstract
Worm infection is an endemic disease in Indonesia. This disease often attacks children, especially in rural areas. It is estimated that more than 60% of Indonesian children suffer from intestinal worms. Humans are the main host of some transmitted soil transmitted nematodes known as Soil Transmitted Helmint (STH) and its transmission medium not through the soil known as Non-Soil Transmitted Helmint (non STH). Intestinal nematodes that include STH and Hookworm and Non STH are Enterobius vermicularis. This study aims to determine the presence of eggs Enterobius vermicularis and Hookworm. The samples examined were feces and anal swab samples from students of SD Negeri Cepoko 2 Sumberlawang Sragen Regency. The method chosen for the swab anal sample is the cellotape method while the stool sample by the method is directly. The research was conducted on February to March 2018 at the Parasitology Laboratory of Setia Budi University Surakarta. The results of the examination showed from 25 samples of anal swab there are 12% positive infected Enterobius vermicularis worm eggs. Whereas in 25 fecal samples there were 4% positive infected Hookworm worm eggs. Keywords: Enterobius vermicularis, Hookworm, Feses, Anal swab
