Abstract

Lipcream isaliquid-shapedlipstickpreparationthatcanmoisturize thelipsforalongtimethaninthesolidform,aswellasproduceamore unevencoloronthelips.Thisisduetothehighoilcontentinthelipcream canhelpmoisturizethelips. Thistypeoflipsticktendstocontainmore waxcontentsoitcanserveasaprotectivelipofdirectsunlight.Useofthe skinoftheredSuperDragonfruitasadye,becausetheskinoftheDragon FruitSuperRed(Hylocereuscostaricensis)hasaredpigmentfrom the high-cukuypanthocyanins.Antosianinisacolorsubstancethatservesto makeredpotentiallynaturaldyesforfoodandcanbeusedasalternative syntheticdyesthataresaferforhealth TheresearchmethodisareviewliteratureoftheRedSuperDragon FruitPeel(Hylocereuscostaricensis)asanaturalcolourinthepreparation ofLipcream.In the evaluation oflipcream preparations conducted, stabilitytest,viscositytestandpHtest. The resultshows a red SuperDragon FruitPeel(Hylocereus costaricensis)canbeusedasadyeintheformulationoflipcream preparationsbasedontheliteraturereview.Theconcentrationvariation affectsthepH,viscosity,stabilityofthepreparationofacream lipbased ontheliteraturereview.
