Abstract

Aloe vera is a type ofplantthatis commonly used in the pharmaceuticalindustry,ecpeciallyincosmeticpreparationsbecauseof theactiveingredientsthathavepharmacologicalproperties.Oneofwhich isabletoholdtheskin,soitisnotligninwhichcanpenetrateandseep intotheskinandcanreleasetoomuchfluid.VitaminEisafatsoluble antioxidant,usedtoprotectlipidstructuresincludingmembranes,while vitaminjcisawatersolubleantioxidantthatfunctionstoprotectpartsof thewatercontaining organs.Thepurposeofthisstudyisformulate emulgelcontainingaloeverawithgoodphysicalcharacteristic. Emulgelpreparationsaremadeusingcarbopolgellingagentswith concentrasions of1%,1,5%,2%.In the evaluation ofthe emulgel preparation organoleptis tests, pH tests, homogeneity, adhesion, dispersion,viscosity,emulsiontips,protection,stabilityandhedonictest werecarriedout. Theresultsshowed thatthephysicalqualitytestofaloevera emulgelvitamineandvitamincwithvariationsincarbopolnconcentration intermsoforganolepticevaluationsresults,pH,homogeneity,adhesion, dispersionandviscositywhichgavethebesteffectcomparedtoother formulaswasformula2withcarbopolconcentration1,5%.Aloevera emulgelvitamineandvitamincarephysicallystableinstorage.
