Abstract

LASA drugs are drugs that look similar in shape, writing, color, and pronunciation. The existence of LASA in the pharmaceutical service unit requires the existence of guidelines or standards in handling it. This is intended to avoid unwanted effects. This study aims to determine the description and suitability of LASA-High Alert drug storage at the Pharmacy Installation of the UNS Hospital for the March 2021 period according to the UNS Hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SPO). This study uses a descriptive survey method. LASA-High Alert drug data was collected by direct observation using checklist sheet. The analyzed LASA-High Alert drug data was then the percentage to determine the suitability of the LASA-High Alert drug storage based on the UNS Hospital Standard Operating Procedure (SPO). The description of LASA drug storage at the UNS Hospital Pharmacy Installation is carried out by checking when LASA class drugs arrive, by examining the quality and quantity of goods according to the order letter and checking the brand, factory name, expiration date and batch number. Then the "LASA" sticker is applied to each drug package and not placed in adjacent areas. Storage of LASA-High Alert drugs at the Pharmacy Installation of the UNS Hospital is in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SPO) of the UNS Hospital with a conformity percentage of 73.03% so that it is included in the good category.
