Abstract
DM type2 causes damage to β-pancreas which results in not functioning normally and insulin resistance. Mangosteen rind contains chemical compounds that have been screened in the form of: garcinone E, gartanin, 8- hydroxykudraxanthone, garcinone D, mangostinon, -mangostin, -mangostin, - mangostin, tovophyllin A, smeathxanthone and xanthone. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction of antidiabetic target proteins on pharmacological effects with the interaction of mangosteen rind compounds from the netwok pharmacology profile formed. This research begins with the search for chemical content data using the KNApSAck and KEGG pathway. The target gene was validated from UniProt then network the target protein interaction using String. The activity data collection was carried out at Pubchem, then the target protein prediction was carried out on SwissTargetPredict and SEA, the search for existing drug targets was carried out using TTD. The data obtained were tabulated and then imported using cytoscape software to generate a netwok pharmacology profile. The results showed that network pharmacology visualization using cytoscape on alpha-mangostin, beta-mangostin and gartanin compounds involved in the binding of the main target protein of PPARG as a PPARG agonist. Alphamangostin and gamma-mangostin compounds have activity as PTP1B inhibitors involved in the INSR network working in negative regulators on the insulin signaling pathway and alpha-mangostin compounds involved in MAPK8 and GLUT2 networks as Tp53 inhibitors so that they provide an antidiabetic hormone response to insulin reduction.
