Abstract
Vaccines are biological materials that are sensitive and easily damaged, so they must be stored at a certain temperature. The health center is one of the places where vaccines are stored. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the COVID-19 vaccine storage and refrigerator conditions in all health centers in Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan Province against the Decree of the Minister of Health No. HK.01.07/Menkes/4638/2021 and good way of drug distribution 2020 This study is qualitative with a cross sectional design, retrospective data collection using direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The data is processed and calculated descriptively using percentage analysis and then presented in tabular form. The results of this study indicate that the overall storage of the COVID-19 vaccine and the condition of the refrigerator have not been in accordance with the guidelines. There are 16 indicators with a score of < 60%, including those in charge are pharmacists (53.3%), officers participating in training (53.3%), availability of sewerage (33.3%), availability of schedules and hygiene checklists (26.7 %), availability of generators (53.3%), special places for damaged/expired COVID-19 vaccines (40%), weekly maintenance records and documentation (6.7%), inspection of refrigerator door density (53.3%), documentation monthly maintenance (13.3%), the refrigerator is qualified at the beginning of its use (53.3%), calibration of the thermometer/refrigerator (0 %), the person in charge of the refrigerator (53.3%), SOP for refrigerator maintenance (33.3 %), the freezetag still shows a check mark (33.3%), the temperature monitoring chart document is placed on the refrigerator (40%), and the refrigerator maintenance record card (6.7%).
