Abstract

Hypertension is a health condition that is being faced all over the world. Hypertension is one of the biggest risk factors for morbidity and mortality in cardiovascular disease, and it affects health costs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the cost-effectiveness of the combination therapy of amlodipin-bisoprolol and amlodipin-ramipril in hypertension outpatients at the Surakarta District Hospital in 2021. This research was conducted using a cross-sectional study. This study was conducted at the in RSUD Fatmawati Soekarno Surakarta 2022. The sample in this study used purposive sampling with patients who met the inclusion criteria. Cost analysis is done by calculating medical costs directly from the hospital's point of view by calculating the ACER and ICER values to find out the most cost-effective therapy. The results showed that the amlodipine-bisoprolol combination therapy was more effective with a percentage of 87.09% compared to the amlodipine-ramipril combination of 78.78%. The average medical cost of amlodipine-bisoprolol therapy is Rp. Rp. 3.600.879 and amlodipine-ramipril therapy of Rp. 3.905.874. The amlodipinebisoprolol combination group obtained a low ACER score of Rp. 1.714.318 . Keywords: Hypertension, CEA, Amlodipine, Bisoprolol, Ramipril
