Abstract

The aging process is a life cycle marked by the stages of decreasing various organ functions, which are marked by the body's increasing susceptibility to various diseases that can cause death, for example in the cardiovascular system and coronary heart disease, hypertension, arthritis, injury and others. -other. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the results of the examination of blood glucose levels (GDS) in the elderly in Dukuh Mundu, Gedongan Village. This research is a descriptive study carried out in Hamlet Mundu, Gedongan Village, in July 2022. This study uses a descriptive method, namely looking at the results of the blood glucose examination in the elderly in Dukuh Mundu, Gedongan Village, using primary data with sampling measured by the Easy touch Glucometer. The number of samples that met the research criteria were 35 people. The data is processed to produce the percentage of blood glucose results. The results of the research percentage obtained from 35 samples there are 27 normal samples with a percentage of 77.1%, where 5 samples get results higher than normal with a percentage of 14.3%, and 3 samples get hypoglycemia results with a percentage of 8.6%.
