Abstract

CV Zweena Adi Nugraha is a maklon service company for soap and skincare products in Sukoharjo. The purpose of this study is to find out the results of the evaluation of the work system of the soap production section and provide recommendations for improving the work system of the soap production section . This study uses a Macroergonomic Analysis and Design (MEAD) approach. The MEAD method aims to analyze more specific sources of problems in the work system so that alternative improvements can be selected to increase productivity in the company. The results of this study indicate that there are variations in temperature conditions on the hot production floor, the level of machine/tool performance is slow, machine/tool maintenance intervals are irregular, workers experience work fatigue, and workers do not get awards. To overcome these problems, it is recommended to add 3 turbine ventilators type L-45 with a suction capacity of 42.39 m3/minute, provide rubber mats on stamp eyes, provide lubricant on mixers, recruit mechanical human resources, make periodic tool/machine maintenance schedules, replace parts/tools. periodic machines, adding automatic cutting machines, adding 14 minutes of rest time at 10.00-10.14 WIB, and making regulations for awarding awards.
