Abstract
CV. Zweena Adi Nugraha is a business that produces soap for beauty and cosmetic purposes. Products come in three different categories: toners, serums, and jelly. Weighing raw materials, mixing, filling, and packaging are the first steps in the skincare production process. Every skincare product has issues that still result in unrestrained product flaws. In order to improve the skincare products offered by CV Zweena Adi Nugraha, this study attempts to identify the many types of defects that can arise, the variables that contribute to faults, and the defects themselves. New Seven Tools and Six Sigma are used in this study. It has been determined that seven errors occurred based on data processing done with Six Sigma stage Define. Seven flaws are known to have occurred based on data processing done using Six Sigma stage Define. The DPMO value at the measure using the control chart is 181079, and the average sigma value is 3.7. The elements that lead to a high number of product defects are recognized to be caused by human factors, the environment, raw materials, machinery, and procedures at the analysis stage utilizing the fishbone diagram. Using the New Seven Tools, suggestions for improvement were obtained for the stage of improvement. These suggestions included reviewing the machine operating process, training operators on how to operate the machine, examining the raw materials to be used, adding a blower or air vent in the warehouse, checking or maintaining, and reviewing the machine's operating instructions.
