Abstract
Hepatitis B is a diffuse inflammatory process in liver tissue caused by hepatitis B virus and gives typical clinical symptoms of colored urine such as dark tea, eye sclera and yellow skin. In the case of viral hepatitis albumin levels will decrease because albumin is the largest substance of protein produced by the liver. Increased release of albumin with proteinuria may lead to hypoalbuminemia in which albumin levels are less than normal. The purpose of this study to determine whether there is a decrease in albumin levels in patients with hepatitis B and to determine the percentage of albumin levels in patients with hepatitis B. this test is compiled based on the results of secondary data retrieval of secondary data collection conducted in Medical Record Installation RSUD. Dr. Moewardi Surakarta against 50 samples of Hepatitis B data and supported by published literature. Results of examination of albumin levels in 50 samples of Hepatitis B can be concluded that 40 samples (80%) decreased albumin levels, while 10 samples (20%) were normal.
