Abstract

Today the quality of hospital services should be further enhanced due to changes in endemic diseases, changes in organizational structure, the development of science and technology, and socio-economic aspect of the society. Clinical pathology laboratory examination is one of the health services in the hospital, which is very useful in helping to establish a diagnosis. The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of clinical pathology laboratory services in RSUD dr.Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri with Hospital’s Minimum Service Standard of Indonesian Ministry of Health 2012. This research is a descriptive research with cross sectional sampling technique. The total samples used in this study are 3574 and according to the formula of Isaac and Michael, the total samples surveyed in one month are 317 respondents. Respondents in this study are outpatients who take laboratory examination at the Laboratory Installation of RSUD dr. Soedirman Mangun SumarsoWonogiri with specified exclusion and inclusion criteria. Results obtained from the data analysis can be concluded that clinical pathology laboratory service in RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri regarding the dimension of waiting time waiting time of the clinical pathology laboratory service result, the expertise implementation of the laboratory examination result, the absence of exchanged laboratory examination specimen, and the customer satisfaction, is in accordance with Hospital’s Minimum Service Standard of Indonesian Ministry of Health 2012.
