Abstract
Sulisyantoko, Damar. 2023. Diagnostic Performance of Immature Granulocyte for Immunophenotyping Examination in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Patients. Bachelor’ degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Sciences Faculty, Setia Budi University. Acute Myeloid Leukemia is a proliferation of immature cells in the bone marrow (blast cells) that affect the peripheral blood or other organs. This disease requires immediate treatment because it develops quickly. Determining the diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia requires careful association of clinical history, morphology, and cytogenetic/ molecular genetic analysis, complemented by Immunophenotyping. This study aims to determine the Immature Granulocyte diagnostic test for Immunophenotyping examination in Acute Myeloid Leukemia patients. This type of research is an observational analytic study with a cross- sectional approach to determine the Diagnostic Performance of Immature Granulocyte for Immunophenotyping Examination in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Patients. The sample used in this study was a sample of Acute Myeloid Leukemia patients who had never received medical therapy, namely a total of 107 research samples conducted at the Clinical Pathology Laboratory Sub-Installation of RSUD Dr. Moewardi and then being tested using 2x2 tables with the Chi-Square method Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between Immature Granulocytes and Immunophenotyping examination in Acute Myeloid Leukemia patients (p = 0,000) and sensitivity 85.11%, specificity 95.00%, PPV 93.02%, NPV 89.06%, LR+ 6.333 and LR- 0.002,, which means that Immature Granulocytes have a good diagnostic test performance against Immunophenotyping examinations in Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
