Abstract

AULIA FATIMAH GIYAN SAPUTRI, 2024, PENGARUH EDUKASI MELALUI MEDIA PLATFORM TIKTOK TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN PERILAKU SWAMEDIKASI PENYAKIT MAAG PADA MAHASISWA KESEHATAN DAN NON KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS SETIA BUDI, PROPOSAL SKRIPSI, PROGRAM STUDI S1 FARMASI, FAKULTAS FARMASI, UNIVERSITAS SETIA BUDI, SURAKARTA. Dibimbing oleh Dr. apt. Jason Merari P., M. Si., M.M. dan apt. Dra. Pudiastuti RSP, M.M. Maag merupakan penyakit yang umum diderita mahasiswa. Terjadinya maag menjadi pendorong melakukan swamedikasi. Strategi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dapat melalui edukasi menggunakan platform TikTok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku swamedikasi penyakit maag pada mahasiswa kesehatan dan non kesehatan USB sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi, serta mengetahui pengaruh platform TikTok sebagai media edukasi dan mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku swamedikasi penyakit maag. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimental dengan desain pretest dan posttest pada satu kelompok, melibatkan 97 responden mahasiswa dari bidang kesehatan dan non kesehatan USB. Sampel diambil menggunakan purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner pretest dan posttest, serta video TikTok sebagai media edukasi. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan uji Wilcoxon karena data terdistribusi tidak normal. Hasil penelitian diperoleh terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku swamedikasi pretest maupun posttest mahasiswa kesehatan dan non kesehatan. Tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku swamedikasi mahasiswa kesehatan lebih baik dibandingkan mahasiswa non kesehatan USB. Kemudian uji wilcoxon dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (sig < 0,05) menunjukkan edukasi melalui media TikTok efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku swamedikasi penyakit maag pada mahasiswa. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan lemah antara tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku swamedikasi penyakit maag, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,313. AULIA FATIMAH GIYAN SAPUTRI, 2024, THE EFFECT OF EDUCATION THROUGH THE TIKTOK MEDIA PLATFORM ON THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND SELF-MEDICATION BEHAVIOR OF ULCER DISEASE IN HEALTH AND NON HEALTH STUDENTS AT SETIA BUDI UNIVERSITY, THESIS PROPOSAL, STUDY PROGRAM PHARMACY, FACULTY OF PHARMACY, SETIA BUDI UNIVERSITY, SURAKARTA. Supervised by Dr. apt. Jason Merari P., M. Si., M.M. and apt. Dra. Pudiastuti RSP, M.M. Ulcer is a common disease suffered by university students. The occurrence of ulcers is a driver for self-medication. Strategies to improve knowledge can be through education using the TikTok platform. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and self medication behavior of ulcer disease in USB health and non-health students before and after being given education, as well as to determine the effect of the TikTok platform as an educational medium and determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the self medication behavior of ulcer disease. This study was an experimental quantitative study with a pretest and posttest design in one group, involving 97 student respondents from the USB health and non-health fields. Samples were taken using purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instruments used were pretest and posttest questionnaires, and TikTok videos as educational media. Statistical analysis was carried out with the Wilcoxon test because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed that there were differences in the level of knowledge and self-medication behavior of pretest and posttest health and non-health students. The level of knowledge and self-medication behavior of health students is better than USB non-health students. Then the Wilcoxon test with a significance value of 0.000 (sig <0.05) shows that education through TikTok media is effective in increasing knowledge and self-medication behavior of ulcer disease in students. In addition, there is a weak relationship between the level of knowledge and self-medication behavior of ulcer disease, with a correlation coefficient of 0.313.
