Abstract

The procese of drugs management cycle in pharmacy departement of RSUD Ungaran consist of selection, procurement, distribution and use. The drug management system in pharmacy departement of RSUD Ungaran is still in the procese of achieving the standard score for accreditation. The objective of research is to evaluate the procese of drugs management cycle in pharmacy departement of RSUD Ungaran using efficiency indicators. The study used descriptive design for retrospective and concurrent data. Retrospective observations include quantification of drugs reporting and drug use, financial report, drug procurement report, invoice, stock take reporting.Concurrent observations include the average waiting time of the out patient service. Measurement the standard value of the indicator uses a standard comparator as an evaluation drug management system. Data are collected quantitatively and qualitatively. The whole stage pharmacy drugs management in hospital Ungaran efficiency level measured using indicators of MoH Indonesia(2008),WHO and other research as a comparation. The results showed that the management system that is not according to the standard are: the selection process, the suitability of the drug with Ungaran Hospital Formulary (66.85%) and drug conformance with fornas II (41.08%); Stage of procurement, Allocation of drug procurement funds (25.83%); Appropriateness of planning with actual use for each drug item (149,58%); Procurement of each drug item per year (5.53 times); Delayed payment by hospital against agreed time (0.29%); Distribution stages, Inventory Turn over Ratio (3.53); Stage of use, number of items per recipe sheet (4.07 and 8.23); Prescription with generic names (40.13% and 31, 24%); Unserved recipes (7.8% and 4.6%). Stage according to standard: procurement stage, capital / available funds with the overall required funds (100%); frequency of invoice of drug (0%); Stage of distribution, fit between physical medicine and card stock (100%); expired and damaged drugs (0.00003%);Drug availability level (15 months); average time spent on prescriptions get into the hands of non cocktail recipes patients on an outpatient basis is 28.15 minutes, while for the compounded prescription is 53.60.
