Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the effect of work environment on employee job satisfaction, to know the effect of work environment on employee performance and to know the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. The type of this research is survey with cross sectional approach. The population of this research is the employee of PDAM Surakarta City which amounted to 444 people. A sample of 120 people with cluster sampling technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used Structural Equation Modeling. The results showed that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of the employees of PDAM Surakarta City. The result of second SEM analysis shows that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of PDAM Surakarta City. The result of the third SEM analysis shows that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of PDAM Surakarta City.
