Abstract

This research is done to look for the alternative of strategy of marketing of motorbike second ( second hand) with the approach of SWOT Method ( strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) and BCG Method ( Boston Consulting Group) to increase sale of dealer Wijaya Motor. Result from SWOT Method obtained by Diagram of matrix SWOT with the co-ordinate ( 0,88;0,78) and can be identified by a Internal Strategy Factor that is Strength Factor got : strong capital employed of score rating 4, owning a lot of branch of score rating 4. Weakness Factor got : score promotion less rating 2, unstable motorbike sale of score rating 2, guarantee of warranty of machine of score motorbike less rating 2, service to cutomer or client less be maximal of score rating 2. Factor of Strategy Eksternal can be identified by that is Opportunity Factor got: motorbike merk have been recognized so that facilitate the information of score rating 4. Threat Factor got : a lot of entrepreneur dealer which of a kind score rating 3. Result from BCG Method obtained by Storey;Level of market growth of dealer Wijaya Motor is 10,3% , market compartment relative dealer Wijaya Motor in the year 2012 is 1,02 x and 2013 is 1,04 x of where both owning value of bigger than 1 (> 1). Result Analyse the calculation with the Matrix BCG of concerning Storey;Level of growth of market and market Compartment relative knowable hence strategy portofolio that is strategy of market development, merger by dealer other;dissimilar, maximizing asset, adding capital employed, maximizing energy of sales sale, multiply promotion.
