Abstract

Organization commitment is the degree of employees identify and participate actively in the attitude of loyalty to the organization so that employee can work to its full potential for the company. Organizational commitment of employees formed from the leadership of company will lead and guide employees in the discharge of his duties. Transformational leadership is the leadership’s ability to influence the motivations, values, beliefs, articulate the vision to his follower based on the influence and relationship between leaders and subordinates, thus achieving a high work productivity in order to achieve the objectives of the company. This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between perceptions of transformational leadership to employees with organizational commitment in PT. Iskandar Indah Printing Textile. Subject of research are employees of PT Iskandar Indah Printing Textile. Subject taken from 75 employees and 70 employees tested for the research. Method of data collection used organizational commitment or Organization Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) scale and transformational leadership perceptions. Analysis of data used correlation-tested at SPSS program for windows release 18.0. Results of data between variables of organizational commitment and transformational leadership showed a correlation coefficient (r) 0,484 with p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Hypothesis is accepted with very significant result and between perceptions of transformational leadership and organizational commitment are positive correlations.
