Abstract

Increasing of public awareness about health status in their life quality improvement driven by advances in science and technology today, therefore people will always insist on health care quality and affordable from the hospital. Hospital will play a role in providing quality health services that support, so as to contribute positively to the performance. Employe with good performance will be able to control their own behavior for the benefit of the organization. This study was aimed to determine the relationship between compensation, motivation to employee performance by workload as moderating variable in Pandan Arang Hospital Boyolali. The research include into non-experimental study and tend associative observational by observing and asking about the relationship between compensation, work motivation on employee performance variables with workload as moderating variable in Pandan Arang Hospital Boyolali, data were collected by distributing questionnaires to employees amounted to 134 people, the questionnaire was made with Likert measurement scale. Data which collected from the questionnaire result of Pandan Arang Hospital Boyolali employees then tested the validity using factor analysis by SPSS version 11.5, then reliability and hypothesis test by path analysis using Lisrel 9.1. The results showed compensation variable had positive effect to performance, as well as motivational variable to performance had positive effect, and workload moderate the effect between compensation to employee performance and motivation to employee performance.
