Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internal control, organizational commitment, organizational culture and competence on employee performance (empirical studies in public accounting firms in Surakarta and Yogyakarta), both in a persistent and simultaneous manner. The population in this research is the entire public accounting firma in Surakarta and Yogyakarta. Total population of 102. The sample unsed in the study was 50 respondents. This sample uses convenience sampling. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of this study are : internal control affects the performance of employess in public accounting firms, organizational commitment influences employee performance in public accounting firms, organizational culture does not affect employee performance in public accounting firms, competence does not affect employee performance in a public accounting firms.
