Abstract

Waiting time for outpatient prescription services is a quite complicated problem in pharmaceutical services. Prescription services as the front line of pharmaceutical services to patients must be done well, because the quality of pharmaceutical prescription services is generally associated with speed in providing services. The purpose of this study was to know the average of time waiting for pharmaceutical services for medicine services and drug medication and customer satisfaction. This research is a kind of non-experimental research or survey research with a descriptive design. Data collection was carried out in a cross sectional manner for outpatients who redeemed prescriptions at the Puskesmas Pringsurat pharmacy installation. The sampling technique was non-probability by purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate the suitability of the waiting time for drug service on average 3.64 minutes ≤ 30 minutes and concoction drugs averaged 7.40 minutes ≤ 60 minutes pharmacy services with patient satisfaction are in accordance with the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia's pharmaceutical service standards in 2012.
