Abstract

The quality of hospital services becomes a major highlight due to the increasingly critical public development. It is also followed by an increasingly growing services and increasingly tight competition among hospitals. Laboratory examination is one of the hospital's supporting services and is mostly used as a basic reference in diagnosing the disease and its treatment steps. This study aims to determine the suitability of clinical pathology laboratory services in RSUD dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus with Minimum Service Standards of Indonesian Ministry of Health 2008. This research applies non experimental research type with descriptive design and a survey method using questionnaire. The study population was outpatients in clinical pathology laboratory in RSUD dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus. The sampling technique of this research uses purposive sampling technique which number of the samples is 273 respondents. The results of the data analysis concluded that clinical pathology laboratory service in RSUD dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus, regarding the indicator of waiting time of the clinical pathology laboratory service result, the expertise implementation of the laboratory examination result, the absence of mistake in the laboratory eaxamination result delivery, and the customer satisfaction, is in accordance with Minimal Service Standard of Indonesian Ministry of Health 2008.
