Abstract
Medical check-up (MCU) is a health examination that aims to determine the patient's health status, not to diagnose symptoms or treat disease. In the MCU, lipid profiles were examined, one of which was cholesterol. Cholesterol is a waxy, soft white substance that is present in all human cells. Factors that affect cholesterol levels are age, gender, genetics, diet, weight, physical activity, and smoking. The purpose of this study is to find out how the cholesterol levels of the Medical Check Up participants of the USB Health Sciences Faculty in 2022. The population is 72 samples of the MCU participants of the USB Health Sciences Faculty in 2022. From a population of 72 participants, 67 samples met the criteria. The research method used is descriptive method. From the data obtained, data analysis was carried out using the relative frequency distribution formula where the data was presented in tabular form. The results of the analysis showed that the male sex was less than the female sex, namely 31.34% and 68.66%. The largest age group in this study was late adulthood and the least was found in early adulthood. Obesity 1 is the most common body mass index disorder, which is 41.79%. Normal cholesterol levels obtained as much as 46.27%, as much as 35.82% and hypercholesterolemia as much as 17.91%. From the results it can be concluded that age and BMI affect the increase in cholesterol levels. Keywords: cholesterol, Medical Check Up
