Abstract
Amasu, D. 2023. The Effect of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Motivation on the Performance of Medical Laboratory Technologists in the Clinical Laboratory Unit. Health Analyst D4 Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Setia Budi University Surakarta. The laboratory is a medical support service unit, which is expected to be able to provide accurate information about laboratory aspects of a sample whose test is carried out by a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT). One of the main tasks that must be possessed by MLT is mastery of science. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and motivation on MLT performance in the clinical laboratory. The tests carried out in this study were validity and reliability tests. The first stage of this study was distributing questionnaires to MLT, totaling 30 people at the clinical laboratory using total sampling technique. After obtaining data from the questionnaire, computerized data processing was carried out. The results of data processing were then classified using regression analysis and discussed in the discussion. The results of research on the influence of knowledge, attitudes and motivation on MLT performance showed that there was an influence of knowledge, attitudes and motivation on employee performance in the clinical laboratory unit. This shows that employee performance can be influenced by the knowledge, attitudes, and work motivation they have. The conclusion from this study is that knowledge, attitudes and motivation affect MLT performance.
