Abstract
Employee productivity is one of the important things that need to be considered by a company, especially for manufacturing companies where most of the production process is carried out by humans. The benchmark in employee productivity is workload. High physical and mental workload will decrease in worker productivity. PT. Poly Meditra Indonesia is a company engaged in the field of snacks such as biscuits, sweets and snacks "Taro" which is located in the industrial area of the district of Jaten, on Jl. Solo-Tawangmangu Km 9, Jumok, Jaten, Karanganyar 57731. Focus of this research is on the operator of the taro snack production at morning works and afternoon works. This research applies the Cardiovascular Load (% CVL) method and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method. The results of the study showed that there was an average CVL of physical workload in the morning work that was 22.76% and kerja siang sebesar 24.57%, the average mental workload score for morning work is 75.11 and afternoon work is 71.17 Keywords: Workload, Physical Workload, Mental Workload, Cardiovascular Load, NASA-TLX.
